This is an overview of the Kuhnke range of industrial relays. These products are found in medical, railway, and power generating applications as well as industries such as printing, textiles and automation.

105 Plug in and PCB versions. Older models may have AgCdO contacts indicated by a C in the part number. Twin contact options. Coils are mainly 24VDC, but some other variations are possible. Socket part number is Z320.02. Kuhnke 105 relay with 4 sets of mechanically guided contacts. 3 types of contact arrangement 4N/O, 3N/O:1N/C, 2N/O:2N/C. This relay is mainly supplied on a replacement basis. |

130 Kuhnke universal timer relays have specified functions for pull in, switch off, blinker and wiper. There are 4 time ranges and three standard voltages creating over 50 options. Ideal for OEM's requiring a non-tamper product. Kuhnke 130 series timer relays have 2 C/O contacts, and plug into standard 11 pin sockets(round pin types). |

EB4 / EG4 Kuhnke universal latching relays work by energising one of the 2 coils for more than 50ms. 8 coil voltages. EB4 plugs into a base, and EG4 version is for printed circuits. Kuhnke EB4 & EG4 latching relays combine two relays in one with mechanical latching. 2 sets of 2C/O contacts. Now supplied on a replacement basis only. | (577Kb) |

IA Plug in for socket or solder connection. 1A2 and 1A4 can be used with socket Z382.02. Many options include different contact materials, twin contacts and a blow out magnet for switching heavy DC loads. Mainly 24VDC, but some other voltages are available. Kuhnke IA relay with versions for 2C/O(IA2), 4C/O(IA4), 6C/O(IA6) and 8C/O(IA8) Suitable for special industrial, railway and arduous switching applications. |

IH Plug in for socket or solder connection. Standard option is 1H.100.24DC. There is only one version in this design. Kuhnke 1H relay with 1N/O contact for 16A loads. This relay is mainly supplied on a replacement basis. |

MF Kuhnke navigation relays plug into standard 8 pin sockets, and are used to monitor DC or AC filament bulbs (and similar loads). There are 85 variants to suit 14 supply voltages with loads from 10W - 200W. Kuhnke MF relays are sometimes known as navigation relays, because they are used to monitor the status of ships navigation lights. They are based on the Kuhnke 8 pin universal relay. |

PA Kuhnke power relay, once available with different contact materials, now supplied with hard silver only (PAS). Mainly 24VDC coil. Suffix S (PASS) indicates auxiliary contact, and suffix M at the end of the whole part number indicates blow out magnet. Kuhnke PA relay with 1N/O bridge contact for 50A, and optional auxiliary contact. The N/C version, Kuhnke PR relay is now no longer available. The Kuhnke PA is widely used for switching lighting loads. |

UA Kuhnke UA relays use sockets Z352. Both 8pin and 11pin versions have hard silver, single or twin contacts, with or without gold cladding. A special purpose relay that is still available in 5 coil voltages. Kuhnke UA is a 2C/O or 3C/O plug in relay. The pins are flat, unlike the round pin Kuhnke UF series. |

UB Kuhnke UB relays were 2 pole or 3 pole with a variety of contact materials. Now only the UB3-230VAC1L is available as a replacement product. All others are obsolete. Kuhnke UB range was the forerunner to today's UF relay (see this site's panel builder section). It is only available in one of its original options. This was a flat blade type. |

600 Kuhnke 600 series process relays include analogue to digital converters, PT100 analogue converters, and frequency analogue converters. Kuhnke PZ610, PZ620, PZ630, PZ640, PZ650 & PZ660 process relays. |

U500 Kuhnke 500 series monitoring relays provide 1C/O output for under or over voltage, single or 3 phase, and for undercurrent or overcurrent. The 6 basic versions are available for 24VDC, 115/24VAC, or 230/24VAC supply. Kuhnke U510, U511, UD517 & UD532, voltage monitoring relays with 1C/O output. Kuhnke I540 and I541 current monitoring relays with 1C/O output. |

U1500 Kuhnke 1500 series monitoring relays perform similar functions to the smaller Kuhnke 500 series, but with 2C/O outputs. There are more options for monitoring range, and supply voltages. Kuhnke U1510, UD1515, UD1525, UD1535, I1540 and F1570 monitoring relays with 2 C/O outputs. These are older style monitoring relays and are still available on a parts replacement basis. |
