Kuhnke's mechanically operated power valve selection is available in 2/2, 3/2 or 5/2 valve designs with a variety of operators including flat levers, plungers, roller levers (limit switch) and antenna versions. Some units are equipped with valve operators on both ends and with pneumatic resets.
Valves are available in standard mechanical designs or in air piloted assist versions for low actuation force applications. Valves are constructed from zinc or aluminum die cast and machined bodies. Porting can be with either NPT or Metric threads to meet connection preferences. Mechanically operated valves can be either spool or poppet designs depending on valve selection.

Flat Lever Operated, Body Mount, Compact Design Can be used as end of travel device or thumb valve. Lever travel is 10mm (3/8 inch). Actuation force is 20N. |

Plunger Operated, Body Mount Depressing plunger operates valve. Used to detect material position or as an end of travel valve. Plunger travel approx. 5mm (3/16 inch). Actuation force is 60N. Used as position or end of travel detector. Valve configurations include pneumatic reset types which can be used in conjunction with pushbuttons or other control devices to manually or automatically reset valve. A double plunger is also available which can be used on machine carriages to reverse direction of travel. Operating force is 35N and plunger travel is approx. 5mm (3/16 inch). |

Plunger Operated, Nose Mount Depressing plunger operates valve. Used to detect material position or as an end of travel valve. Plunger travel approx. 5mm (3/16 inch). Actuating force is 35N. Can be used as a door closed switch, material position detector or an end of travel detector. A double plunger is available which can be used on machine carriages to reverse direction of travel. Air pilot assist reduces actuation force to 8N, minimum supply pressure 2,5 bar. |

Roller Lever Operated, Body Mount Used as a pneumatic limit switch or position detector. Roller arm travel is 10mm (3/8inch). Actuating force is 20N. Options include valves with pneumatic reset used in conjunction with other controlling devices to reset valve. A double roller lever valve can be used on machine carriages to reverse direction of travel. The Compact design used as a pneumatic limit switch or position detector. Roller arm travel is 14mm (9/16 inch). Actuation force is 35N. |

Whisker Valve, Air Pilot Assisted Actuation is caused by deflection of spring supported 115mm (4½-inch) wire. Can be used to detect passing items on conveyor belts. Allows valve to be mounted close to detected unit and provides a wiping action. |
