Single-acting linear solenoids

A linear solenoid has three important characteristics: stroke, pull-in force and relative duty cycle (ED).

Stroke is the distance by which the armature should be moved.

Pull-in force is defined as the force available before the movement starts.

The relative duty cycle represents the relation of switch-on time to operational cycle time. For example: 5 % ED means: the solenoid is switched-on for 5 seconds and afterwards switched-off for 95 seconds (for cooling purposes).

Standard Linear Solenoids

Stroke: up to 2 mm, force up to 2 N - MM Series
Stroke: up to 5 mm, force up to 15 N - HL/HM/HU/H/V & RM Series
Stroke: up to 10 mm, force up to 20 N - H/V & RM Series
Stroke: up to 20 mm, force up to 20 N - HL/H & RM Series
Stroke: up to 35 mm, force up to 500 N - HL & RM Series
